MCPconnect is the neutral, channel-only integration layer that makes the platforms IT teams and managed service providers already run AI-native. It is built and operated by Preferred Data Corporation, a US software and managed-services company in business since 1987, and runs a fleet of secure, multi-tenant Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers on Cloudflare's edge network - with Halo as a launch-partner connector.
The Halo connector turns your instance - HaloPSA, HaloITSM, or HaloCRM - into a set of task-shaped tools that Claude and any other MCP-aware assistant (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, and ChatGPT via a custom action) can use directly. Instead of swivel-chairing between Halo and AI chat windows, your team triages and updates tickets, looks up clients, sites, contracts and assets, searches the knowledge base, logs time, and builds and approves quotes - in plain language, from the LLMs they already work in. Tools resolve names to IDs automatically, so there are no "first find the client ID, then..." multi-step lookups.
Security is the architecture, not a policy. Your Halo API credentials are AES-GCM encrypted at rest, never stored on a technician's laptop, and never exposed to the AI model. Connections use OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, every tenant is isolated, and every action is audit-logged. Reads are the default; every write - creating or updating a ticket, quote, or invoice - requires explicit, per-action confirmation.
This is the "pick or shovel" tool for you to build AI workflows and automations.

- Run Halo from chat: triage, create, and update tickets, add public or private actions, and log time in plain language - no tab-switching, no retraining.
- Faster first response: Claude pairs each ticket with its history and your Halo knowledge base to draft the first reply for one-click approval, protecting your SLA clock.
- SLA risk caught early: surface tickets trending toward breach, ranked by contract value and time-to-breach, so the desk works the right ticket next - not the loudest one.
- Quote and sell from the service desk: build, revise, and approve quotes end to end - line items, optional lines, PO capture, and conversion to sales orders - straight from a ticket.
- Full commercial surface: read and (with confirmation) write clients, sites, contacts, assets/CMDB, contracts, opportunities, items, invoices, sales orders, and purchase orders.
- Knowledge at the point of need: search and surface the right Halo KB article inside the ticket a technician is already working.
- Insight on demand: QBR briefs, reopen-rate and posture summaries, and cross-customer pattern spotting, synthesized straight from live Halo data.
- Works with the assistants you already use: Claude.ai web, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, other MCP-aware clients, and ChatGPT via a custom action.
- Secure by design: credentials AES-GCM encrypted at rest, never on a laptop, never shown to the AI; OAuth 2.1 + PKCE; per-tenant isolation; full audit log; read-only by default with explicit confirmation on every write.
- Simple, predictable pricing: one flat monthly fee for unlimited connectors and tokens - no per-seat, per-call, or per-agent metering.
- Live in minutes: self-service onboarding with Microsoft 365 or Google sign-in - paste your Halo API credentials once and connect your assistant.
