Frequently asked questions
FAQ Question 1

How much does Halo cost?
Halo is priced per agent, with every feature, module and integration included in that one price, and you can be billed monthly or annually. There are no feature tiers and no separate editions for IT, service, sales or projects, so talk to us for a published figure for your team.
---
What is an agent, and do I pay for my customers or end users?
Agents are your licensed users. The team logging in to manage tickets, deals and projects. Your end users and the customers who access the portal are always free.
---
Is the price really the same for IT, customer service, sales, projects and marketing?
Yes. Halo is one platform at one price, so IT, customer service, sales, projects, marketing and everything in between are included for every agent. You never licence them separately.
---
Do features get locked behind higher tiers or paid add-ons?
No. Halo has no tiers, editions or add-ons. All current and future capabilities like automation, AI, CMDB, project management and reporting are included as standard for every agent.
---
What is the difference between Named and Concurrent licences?
Halo offers two licence types at the same per-agent price. A Named licence is assigned to one specific agent, while a Concurrent licence is shared across a pool and counts how many agents are logged in at once, which suits shift-based teams, those that need infrequent access or 24/7 teams.
---
Does Halo cost more as my data volume grows?
No, Halo is priced only by the number of agents, never by tickets, end-users, or data volume.
---
Is there an enterprise plan?
Yes. Large organisations can take the Halo Enterprise Package, with unlimited licences and funded implementation for a fixed annual fee.
---
Is there a discount for charities or not for profits?
Yes, NFPs and Charities will be entitled to a 15% discount throughout their contract with Halo. For selected charities and NGOs currently paying over $1 million a year on their software, the Halo Impact will provide them a fully-funded ESM for life.
