Bypassing the need for email processing in the communication process. </p><p><br></p><p>If your supplier also uses Halo you can communicate with them through the API using our setup outlined here: <a data-fr-linked="true" href="https://usehalo.com/haloitsm/guides/2455" id="isPasted" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><strong>Syncing Tickets Between Instances</strong></a>.</p><p><br></p><p>If your supplier does not use Halo you can still communicate with them through the API, through the use of runbooks. A custom runbook to post a communication to the supplier's application will need to be created, but in this article we will run through how to set the runbook to be used automatically when a particular supplier is chosen. </p><p><br></p><p>Once you have created your runbook head to the supplier profile > settings tab. Allowing them to read and leave notes on tickets that have been logged to their supplier.
