This allows them to be highly available and reliable as well as providing strong data security.</p><p>You can read more about AWS data centre controls <a href="https://aws.amazon.com/compliance/data-center/controls/">here</a>.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Data backups</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Databases are synced over multiple AWS availability zones to allow system failover if a failure is encountered in the primary data centre.</p><p>Data is also backed up to cloud storage hourly and retained for three days. These backups are encrypted using AES-256 encryption and store in AWS S3.</p><p><br><strong>How is my data stored?</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Halo uses a multi-database multi-tenant architecture with each customers data separate from each other. Data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 standards and data in transit uses TLS 1.2.</p><p><br></p>
